Acknowledgement of Country

Henari Support Services acknowledges the Bindal and Wulgurukaba peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters of Townsville, where we live, work and walk alongside the people we support.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We honour the enduring strength, knowledge, cultures and connections to Country, family and community that have existed for countless generations.

The Aboriginal Flag and Torres Strait Islander Flag are displayed with respect and pride, recognising First Nations peoples and their ongoing contribution to our community. Henari is committed to providing inclusive, culturally respectful support that values every person’s identity, choice and independence.
